Settlement SidekickPrivacy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 27, 2026
This policy is subject to review and may be updated.

This policy explains what the Settlement Sidekick Android app ("the app", "we", "us") does with your information. We have tried to keep it plain and accurate.

1. Information we ask for

When you set up the app:

After the scan of open settlements: for each claim you look at, the app asks only for the answers that specific claim form requires. This can include things like an address or purchase details.

Sensitive details: We ask for a Social Security number, tax ID, or date of birth only when a specific claim form requires it. We never ask for bank account numbers, payment card numbers, or passwords.

2. Where your information is stored

The information you enter is stored encrypted on your phone. It stays there unless you buy and approve a claim, as described next.

3. When information leaves your phone

If you buy and approve a claim, the information needed for that claim is sent to our server, which runs on Cloudflare Workers. Our filing bot uses it to submit the claim to the settlement administrator on your behalf. We don't send the information for claims you haven't approved.

4. How we use information

We use your information only to find claims that may apply to you, to file claims you approve, and to show you the status of those claims. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep the information we hold on our server only as long as needed to file your claim and show its status. After filing is complete, the data is deleted. You can also ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing eventhrzn@mail.grokbot.com. Information stored on your phone can be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.

Once a claim has been submitted, the settlement administrator receives that information and handles it under its own privacy practices. We can't delete data from their systems.

6. Payments

Purchases are handled by Google Play. We don't see or store your payment card details. Google's own privacy policy applies to your payment information.

7. Settlement information

The list of open settlements is public information collected from official settlement websites. It doesn't contain personal data about you.

8. Service providers

We use Cloudflare to host this website and our server. Cloudflare processes data on our behalf to provide that hosting. Google Play processes your payments.

9. Children

The app is not for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date.
